Privacy
Inyo doesn't collect your data. There's no account, analytics, or advertising, and nothing you write or attach is sent to me. I don't sell or share personal information.
Your notes
Your notes, photos, links, and tags are stored on your devices and in your private iCloud account, which is how they sync between your devices. Apple runs iCloud under its own terms, and I can't see what you keep there. On a Mac, Inyo also keeps backups in a local folder. Delete a note in the app and it's removed from your library. I don't hold any of your notes, so there's nothing for me to delete.
Calendars, camera, and photos
Inyo reads the calendars you select, on your device, and never changes them. Events from those calendars are saved in your library, so they sync through your iCloud with your notes. The camera and your photos are used only when you choose to attach a picture.
Things, sharing, and export
If you turn on sending notes to Things, Inyo passes the note's text to Things on your device, and Things' own privacy policy then applies. When you share or export notes, they go where you send them.
Tag suggestions
Suggestions are worked out on your device. Your notes aren't sent to any service to make them.
Age signal
Where the law requires it, Inyo requests an age signal from Apple. It doesn't store the answer or send it anywhere.
Errors and crash reports
Inyo keeps a small error log on your device. It doesn't contain your notes, links, photos, or calendar details. If you choose to share crash reports with developers through Apple, Apple may pass those reports to me.
Purchases
Apple handles purchases. I don't receive buyers' names or payment details.
This website
This site uses no cookies or analytics. It's hosted by Cloudflare, which may process visitors' IP addresses and keep server logs to deliver and protect the site. Because nothing here tracks you, the site does nothing differently in response to a browser's Do Not Track signal, and no other parties track you across sites through it.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update this page and its date, and describe any significant change here.
